Central Districts had it all done and dusted before lunch on day four of their Plunket Shield match yesterday, cruising to a 10-wicket win over Otago in Napier.

Otago resumed their second innings yesterday at 237-8, leading by only 18 runs, and added only two more runs, leaving Central only 21 for the outright win.

Central paceman Andrew Mathieson was the best of the bowlers, his 5-39 beating his previous best first-class haul of 3-71.

Openers Jeet Raval (14 not out) and Jamie How (5 not out) knocked off the runs in 4.5 overs, with Raval hitting three fours and How one.

The final day of the match between Auckland and Wellington at Eden Park Outer Oval was washed out, with the sides having to settle for a draw.

Is Ma'a Nonu returning to the Hurricanes ...

A great move, he's still world class

Okay for one season, but no more

Depriving a more deserving player of a contract

Great for the All Blacks but of no use to Canes

Hmmm, I'll vote in 12 months' time
