Limit rider Kendyl Roberts took major honours in the third round of the George Whareoka Memorial road cycling series race on Sunday.
Raced over 30km of the Egmont-Lepper Rd block followed by the Alfred-Egmont Rd block, Roberts took 1hr 10min 30sec to narrowly beat scratch rider Jason Thomason, who recorded fastest time of 51min 11sec.
Steve Smith, riding off the break mark, was third in 53min 31sec.
