New Plymouth Girls' High School remain winless at the national secondary schools cricket finals in Palmerston North.

On day four yesterday, New Plymouth lost to St Hilda's Collegiate (Dunedin) in the morning round.

St Hilda's made 140-3 in their 20 overs batting first.

In reply, Girls' High made 87-4, Eliss Davies top scoring with 38 off 55 balls.

In the afternoon round, New Plymouth were crushed by competition co- leaders Havelock North High School.

Havelock North reached 161-2 in their 20 overs before dismissing New Plymouth for a paltry 25 runs in 10.4 overs.
