Taranaki skier Finlay Neeson has finished second overall in the open men's giant slalom race at the Western Series FIS race in Wyoming, United States.
Neeson's time for his two runs was one minute 43.57 seconds - just 0.27sec behind the winner, Nick Bailey of the United States.
Third was Neeson's Treble Cone Race Academy team-mate Ty Sprock, of the United States, in 1min 43.67sec.
Neeson now heads to Steamboat to compete in a slalom race series.
