Oakura's Jordan Giltrap, riding Celtic Limelight, is second overall in the junior section of the New Zealand Pony Club's teams dressage competition.

The North Island section was competed at Taupo last weekend, while Christchurch was the venue for the South Island teams. Giltrap and 18-year-old chestnut Celtic Limelight also took out the pony breeders' sash for the highest scoring pony registered with the Pony Breeders' Association.

The Taranaki team finished fourth at Taupo but slipped to fifth overall after the South Island section.
