A revised draft draw for the Taranaki senior A rugby competition will see defending champions Coastal take on Tukapa in the opening week on April 6.

The withdrawal of Eltham-Kaponga last week has meant the start of the competition has been pushed back from March 16 to April 6.

In other games, Stratford will host New Plymouth Old Boys, Inglewood are at home to Spotswood United, and Southern will start with a home game against Clifton.

The Taranaki Rugby Football Union is still working through the full draw with clubs.

The draw is expected to be finalised this week.

A great move, he's still world class

Okay for one season, but no more

Depriving a more deserving player of a contract

Great for the All Blacks but of no use to Canes

Hmmm, I'll vote in 12 months' time
