Four New Plymouth cyclists - Stephen Hills, Rebecca Hayman, Kristie Fairhurst and Shane Hall - were invited to a Paralympics New Zealand talent identification camp at the weekend.

 Held at the Taranaki Cycle Park, the camp included coaching and advice, endurance testing, cycling sessions on the road and track, specialised para-cycling equipment, tandem cycles, handcycles, trikes, road and track bikes.

The PNZ cycling programme is led by Brendon Cameron who coached Paralympic champions Phillipa Gray and Laura Thompson.

He is also a former coach of Olympic champion Sarah Ulmer.
