A spokesman for Justice Minister Simon Power has denied a report that the Government intends to scrap and rewrite the Copyright Act.
Work was continuing to redraft the canned section 92a of the Act, which attempted to set out internet providers' obligations with regard to customers who repeatedly breached copyright, he said, but it was not known when that would be completed.
