Daylight Savings changes will affect computers, gadgets

Changes to when Daylight Savings starts and ends may be ignored by computers and gadgets if their users aren't prepared.

Daylight Savings will start one week earlier than in previous year (2:00am on September 30, 2007) and will end two weeks later (3:00am on April 6, 2008).

Microsoft recently released patches to change the start and end of Daylight Savings on home and work computers, which should be downloaded automatically as updates for Windows XP and Vista.
