Christchurch dancing robot inventor Hanno Sander has teamed with food sculptor Gaby Montejo for a tech-food-art display called Botoxicated!
Sander's two-wheeled dancebot, middle, will attempt to balance a flute of Champagne for four weeks straight, from last Friday.
That's balancing for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If that doesn't seem challenging, recall that two-wheeled devices - bikes, for example - tip over without support.
"It's about dancing all night. With a drink. Being a little bit tipsy, a little bit wobbly but holding it all together," says Montejo, the artist.
"It will survive, but I'm not sure if it will balance the whole time," says Sander, the engineer.
