Telecom has apologised to customers but says it has now fixed a fault with its new email service.
The company said today it had resolved the registration fault with its Yahoo!Xtra Bubble service which affected some customers' ability to access the service.
Telecom said the fault identified on Monday had meant some customers were unable to register for the new service or access their web-mail.
Chief operating officer, consumer, Kevin Kenrick says while the registration fault had been solved the company was continuing to help customers who had related issues with individual email settings.
Mr Kenrick said it had updated information online to assist customers who didn't yet have full service and they should visit www.xtra.co.nz/help.
Telecom has added more people at call centres to assist those customers who continued to have problems.
