Snapchat is gobbling your data
Snapchat is fun to use but it also has a tendancy to gobble up lots of data as it continously downloads snaps.
But there is a quick way to avoid being hit with expensive fees for additional data.
It's called Travel Mode (which is turned off by default), and using it means that snaps and stories don't load in the background.
Once it's turned on, snaps will only load when you tap on them. This means waiting a bit but it does save lots of mobile data.
Here's how to activate it:
1. Open the app and tap on the settings gear icon in the top-right corner.
2. Scroll down to "Additional Services" and tap on "Manage".
3. Tap the "Travel Mode" button.
