Software for non-sinners
The web is a place of constant temptation and offence for morally upstanding individuals. Probably, at least. I wouldn't know.
But if that sounds like you, and you're off the Microsoft wagon, then check out the Christian Edition of Ubuntu Linux.
The operating system is free, open source, and all righteous. It comes with Bible study software, virtual rosary, Bible verse memoriser, and web-filtering tools.

Ubuntu CE does not exist because "The web is a place of constant temptation and offence for morally upstanding individuals" as you suggest (you obviously assume all Christians to be morally upstanding individuals, not always the case!). It is a version of Linux that includes Bible study software and other software of interest to Christians on one CD, so you can install Linux on your computer and from first boot have all this set up, rather than having to hunt down the applications from the net and manually install them. Some included software is obscure and hard for a novice to set up on Linux (E-sword).
Sounds a very practical idea to me, if you want those applications. If not you can stick to basic Ubuntu. Ubuntu CE also includes web content filtering software you can use to filter out porn sites so your kids can't look at them, which may be of interest to more people than just Christians.
By the way, there is another Christian distro based on Kubuntu here: http://www.ichthux.com/ and a Moslem version of Ubuntu here: http://www.ubuntume.com/
