You're all winners in my book

Thanks to all those who wrote such colourful and well-thought out prose for the Ballad of Gay Tony DLC code - I was most impressed. Really, I was.

And because the standard was so high, I managed to persuade the lovely Angely at Xbox to fork out a code for 1000 Microsoft Points, so a big round of applause to her.

So that I remained totally impartial, I passed the judging of this one over to a work colleague, Daniel Tobin, a man of great integrity and valour, to pick the two winning entrants (that way he gets the hate mail, too).

It was extremely difficult, though, as there were some really creative approaches to how you'd get out of the predicament ... but there can only be one DLC code winner and Daniel decided that that is ...

... Mattdognz for his eloquent tale that managed to incorporate not only me (Don Campbell) into the saga but also regular Game Junkie followers m0rph3us, hadleigh and cheeseslug. Dan liked that one a lot.

He also liked the simplicity of CalD's entry, who said he'd just eat everything. He's right: who would argue with someone who would eat rubber bands, drawing pins, paper, a piece of wood and some sticky C4? I'd hate to use the toilet after him ...

Again, thanks to all those who entered and I wish you could all win a prize. Really, I do. I feel bad that you all can't win. I'll try and sort out another competition in the leadup to the holiday season.

Thanks very much Gerard and Daniel.

I really enjoyed the competition and reading everyone's posts. It was a lot of fun and a much needed distraction from the daily grind!

Congrats to CalD - his reply has had me laughing all day.

Got a good chuckle out of some of those..

Shame I own the 2 other platforms as I would love to spend some quality time with Gay Tony. You know just me and him. I dim the lights, grab a drink. Retire to the couch in the living room firmly gripping my controller, and do just whatever he tells me to, because I know that the only way to get the happy finish is to fully satisfy his every desire.

How about that piece of poor reporting on the World of Warcraft situation in China? It doesn't sound like it was written by anyone that knows anything about the game. It's a "recent release" at 5 years old?
