Facebook has released a slimmed-down version of its social networking website, according to a US technology blog.
US blog Techcrunch reported that the Facebook Lite screen is "much cleaner", with real-time reports along the bottom of the screen.
The Lite version has no applications, like quizzes and games.
It is only available to US Facebook users, Techcrunch said.
