Facebook Lite now in NZ too

Facebook has released a slimmed-down version of its social networking website.

US blog Techcrunch reported that the Facebook Lite screen is "much cleaner", with real-time reports along the bottom of the screen.

The Lite version has no applications, like quizzes and games.

It was released first in the US, but has since been rolled out to other countries, including New Zealand.
