Tauranga-based software developer Pingar will be launching two apps for Microsoft's 'Office Store'.
The Office Store will be separate from the Windows Store, and will be built into Microsoft Office 15. A preview for Office 15, including the Office Store, is available now for customers to trial.
Pingar's apps are among the first that Microsoft has approved for the store.
The first app, called the Pingar Summaries App, will "create an accurate and readable summary of Word documents in seconds", according to the company. The summary can be shared within the document, or through an email or blog post.
The Pingar Metadata Extraction app, Pingar said, can identify keywords in a document, as well as addresses, people, and dates, and pull that metadata to make searching for the right document easier.
