The Nokia Lumia 610 is now available from Vodafone at a price of $449, Nokia has announced.
The Windows Phone 7.5 device, which resembles Nokia's already-released Lumia 710 in apperance, has a 3.7-inch display with an 800x480 pixel resolution, and an 800MHz Snapdragon processor.
The device also has 8GB onboard storage and 256MB RAM, but it has no MicroSD slot or other option for upgrading storage capacity, .
Those looking for both front- and rear-facing cameras will be disappointed: the Lumia 610 has just one 5MP rear-facing camera.
Nokia ANZ's sales director, Steve Lewis, said the company was seeing "real momentum" in the Lumia range with both consumers and businesses.
"For those looking for an introduction to smartphones, the affordable Nokia Lumia 610 offers a rich social, web and entertainment experience - something that Nokia Lumia smartphones are becoming synonymous with. It also comes with a full complement of Microsoft office applications," Lewis said.
