The iPad mini goes on sale at retailers on November 2 - the good news is that means New Zealanders will be the first to get their hands on the new Apple gadget.
While Apple wouldn't say exactly when pre-orders might ship, an Apple spokesperson this morning told PC World that New Zealand retailers will be able to sell iPad minis before anyone else in the world.
Australian retailers - including the Apple stores - are planning to open at 8am to fulfill buyer demand for the iPad mini.
The iPad mini is available for pre-order from the Apple site, but orders currently state that they will ship November 12. If you want to get one early, it may well be a case of lining up at the likes of YooBee, Noel Leeming and Dick Smith.
