It's been some time since I visited Albion, but this See The Future downloadable content was enough to draw me back to the Fable 2 universe.

See The Future is the second downloadable content from Peter Molyneux's Lionhead Studios. It brings three new quests (The Snowglobe, The Cursed Knight, The Colosseum) and one enlightenment (See the Future), plus new achievements, new clothes and four new dog types as well as a new doggie trick .

It feels more complete than Knothole Island - which was made available rather quickly after Fable 2 was released.

The quests are triggered by Murgo the travelling salesman, who first appeared at the start of Fable 2. He is now skulking around the docks of Bowerstone market. Murgo gives you a miniature snowglobe, a crystal skull and a miniature colosseum.

In The Cursed Snowglobe, you enter a town devoid of colour and kill the blue, red and yellow shadows that have plagued the town and taken the children. When that's done, colour returns.

With the colour-coded quests in Fable 2 a particular coloured floating orb means a particular skill or weapon must be used, and it's the same with the coloured shadows.

In The Crystal Skull, you have to find magical wisps to revive a fallen wizard. This turns out to be a mistake because he turns against you. This was probably the most amusing of the quests, as you dress up to fool the wisps.

The Colosseum is a large fighting arena where you battle waves of enemies, scoring points and hitting those floating, glowing orbs.

While The Crystal Skull and The Cursed Snowglobe were easy to complete, the whole package feels more complete than Knothole Island.

It'll probably take you a couple of hours to complete, but at just 560 MS points it's not going to break the bank. This is a tantalising glimpse of things to come.
