Bethesda Softworks has announced it's developing an Elder Scrolls MMO for PC and Mac.
Set a millennium before the events of Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls Online sees the daedric prince Molag Bal attempting to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm.
"It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years," said Game Director Matt Firor, whose credits include Dark Age of Camelot.
"The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made - and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise."
According to Gameinformer, the PvP aspect of the game will feature three player factions vying for control of the province of Cyrodiil and the Emperor's throne itself.
The Elder Scrolls Online will be available in English, German and French languages.
