The next Batman game in the Arkham series is scheduled for release this year.
The news came during Warner Bros. Interactive's investor call, during which the company's chief financial officer and chief administrative officer John Martin singled out the game.
"We also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise," he said.
"So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012."
However, according to VG247 sources, Rocksteady isn't working on the next Batman game.
Reports last year had the Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City developer instead working on a Silver Age Batman game set in the 1950s, where he encounters Joker for the first time.
Last month, a company suspected to be Warner registered 15 Arkham-centric domain names.
