Saints Row IV will get a complete, uncut release in New Zealand, publisher Deep Silver has confirmed.

On Tuesday the game was refused classification by the Australian Classification Board due to the appearance of an anal probe weapon and "alien narcotics".

Deep Silver said it plans to submit an edited version of the game to the Australian Classification Board in the hope of obtaining a rating.

Saints Row IV is due out on August 23 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.
