Telecom's Xtra email service has been fixed after suffering from technical problems this morning.
Telecom spokeswoman Emma-Kate Greer said there were problems with the service from 7.15am to just before midday.
She did not know how many customers were affected because the problems with the service were intermittent.
The company's technical teams were investigating the cause of the problem, she said.
The outage comes a day after Telecom announced 250 New Zealand call-centre jobs would go to Manila over the next 18 months.
At least 155 of the jobs were in Auckland among staff providing broadband support.
