Hillyer's Lincoln home to be auctioned
The home of Hillyers pies is for sale in the town of Lincoln.
The property is a historic house on the main street, leased to Hillyers of Lincoln for a cafe and pie shop and also to printing business Lincoln Digital Print.
It covers two titles on a total of 2000sqm of business-zoned land.
Hillyers began in the town in the 1960s, winning awards for their pies which are now made in Christchurch.
Marketing agent Jeremy Speight of Bayleys says while the pie maker has a lease until late 2015 and the printer has a month-to-month lease, the property could eventually be redeveloped.
Speight says that with Lincoln's population growing fast, business development sites in the town are in demand. The property will be auctioned.
