The Christchurch City Council is hosting pool parties at various pools over the summer. Take the kids to the Halswell Pools today (from noon to 3pm) for a barbecue and a farmyard-themed outing. Adults, $5.50, under-16s, $3.10. 339 Halswell Rd, Hoon Hay.
