Santana and The Steve Miller Band show originally scheduled to perform at AMI Stadium on March 17 has moved to the CBS Canterbury Arena.

Promoters Chugg Entertaintment and Bolton Promotions said the subsequent announcement of a Super 14 match to be held at AMI Stadium on March 16 was not initially seen as an issue but the ''resulting logistical problems'' have made it impossible to build the stage and prepare the stadium in time for the show that night.

They added that because of the time constraints imposed by the move to an indoor venue, the Taj Mahal Trio are now unable to perform.

But Taj Mahal's scheduled Wellington and Auckland shows will not be affected.

Tickets purchased for the AMI Stadium show remain valid and transferable - no exchanges are required.

Those seeking ticket refunds should go back to the point of purchase by March 8.

Doors to the show at CBS Canterbury Arena on March 17 will now open at 5.30pm with the show starting at 7pm.
