7000 Wine & Food Fest tickets sold

Almost 7000 tickets have been sold for a wine and food festival in Christchurch's Hagley Park next month.
About 2000 tickets remain for the New World Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, December 8.
Festival spokesman Callam Mitchell said sales were "fantastic".
Mitchell said they were better than for last year's inaugural event.
The festival was on a larger site this year.
More than 50 wineries from Central Otago, Canterbury, Waipara, Nelson and Marlborough would be at the show, including Giesen, Pegasus Bay, The Crater Rim, Waipara Hills and Allan Scott.
Music acts include Sola Rosa, Anika Moa, The Thomas Oliver Band and Tahuna Breaks.
Forty gourmet food producers and exhibitors will also be on site, representing Whitestone Cheese, She Chocolat, Premium Game and Smoke Marlborough.
There will also be "experience'' areas, including demonstrations from New Zealand chefs.
All that was left was for the weather to play ball, Mitchell said.
"We'll see what happens. What will be will be but I think people can still come out and enjoy some good wine and food even if it's not exactly sunny."
In the case of wet weather, the event will be postponed until the following day.
