There is plenty on offer at Coffee Zone.

The unconventional wood and Lego shack is a gorgeous spot for a summer coffee under umbrellas or atop rubble bench seating (downside, rather exposed in winter).

The long black is smooth and has a great depth of flavour from a short, punchy extraction.

Oomph! beans have a subtle flavour palette and are great for those who like a strong coffee without the bitter aftertaste seen in some blends.

The flat white is, for once, flat. No excess foam here - excellent. The milk is disappointingly under-heated, but is silky and shiny, so five seconds more steam seems a small price to pay for such a lovely brew.

While you wait, have a go at Gap Filler's neighbouring mini-putt or pick some strawberries from the cafe planter.
