Megan Fox used a hand double in a raunchy new advert.
The Jennifer's Body star can be seen reclining in a bubble bath in the promotional clip for Motorola - which debuted on US TV during the Super Bowl - but bosses employed a model for close up shots of her playing with the new Blur smart phone.
The model was brought in because Megan has a genetic condition called brachydactyly, which means she has clubbed thumbs.
The 30-second clip was seen by an estimated 90 million TV viewers and despite Megan's sexy appearance in the commercial, most discussions centred on her hands.
A writer on the Celebrity Smack blog said: "Did anyone else catch this? I couldn't help but chuckle when they showed a close-up of the Motorola phone and the hands holding it were definitely not Megan Fox's."
Despite drafting in a replacement pair of hands for the advert, experts have previously said Megan's problem is not serious.
Leading New York hand surgeon Dr Steven Bendner said last year: "Literally, what it means is short finger. The nail of the thumb in this condition is often very short and wide. It is usually hereditary.
"You need it to be able to touch the other fingers and it is important for pinching. In Megan Fox's case, it appears that only the last bone of the thumb is affected and that it does not involve the joint.
"For her, it looks like it's just a cosmetic deficit."
