Daniel Radcliffe celebrated turning 21 by dancing on tables in a Russian club.

The Harry Potter star celebrated the landmark birthday last week. To escape the paparazzi, Daniel and two male friends flew to St Petersburg for the weekend.

Once there, they rang in Daniel's big day in style at the city's 48 Chairs Club, downing dozens of vodka shots and dancing on chairs and tables.

At one point, Daniel stepped behind the bar to mix his own cocktails before hitting the dance floor again.

Other club-goers were shocked when they realised who Daniel was as they have been watching him in the boy wizard films since he was just 11 years old.

"We were stunned when we realised it was Harry Potter. He was just fab," onlooker Katya told British newspaper The Sun. "He enjoyed himself so much. He was laughing like a hyena all night."

Daniel eventually left the club at 4am with no shoes on.
