With eight Qantas Media Awards and a solid 24-year background in newspapers, Yvonne brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team.
Work lured her away from Auckland 15 years ago and she has refused to leave Christchurch ever since. She's hooked on the lifestyle here, enjoying running around the city, up its hills and after its stories.
The Avenues job allows her to combine her love of writing and story-telling with showcasing the best of Canterbury.

Yvonne has worked for daily newspapers such as The Press and The Dominion, as well as the Sunday Star-Times, during her award-winning writing career.
