Arrests over alleged exploitation of migrants

Five people have been charged in relation to exploiting migrant workers, after an investigation which may yield further arrests.

In a statement, Immigration New Zealand said the five people arrested faced allegations of exploitation and other immigration-related offending.

They will appear in Wellington District Court on next Monday. The investigation is ongoing and further arrests may be made.

Immigration NZ will not make any further comment until the five people appear in court.
