A three-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car on a Taupo driveway.
At about 9pm yesterday, a woman was leaving a property on a shared driveway on Te Mako Mako Lane, Hatepe, when the boy was struck. Attempts to revive him at the scene were unsuccessful.
Police are investigating the incident and providing support for the family.
The boy’s name will not be released until all next of kin have been advised.
