Two men were found seriously injured in a vehicle at the bottom of a 20-metre bank in Wairarapa this morning.

A farmer found the Mitsubishi Lancer in a paddock on Waihakeke Road, Carterton, about 5.30am.

One man was taken to Masterton Hospital with moderate injuries and the other was flown to Wellington with critical injuries, police said.
