DRIVER AIRLIFTED OUT: The small truck, which was carrying large metal drill bits, rolled after hitting a culvert near Little River.

A man has been airlifted to hospital after his truck rolled on State Highway 75 near Little River.

The truck came off the road, crashed through a sign and then rolled on to its roof about 12.15 pm.

Senior constable Lyle Pryor said the driver did not appear to be seriously injured.

He said speed did not appear to be a factor, but the cause was not yet clear as he had not spoken to the driver.

The small truck, which was carrying large metal drill bits, rolled after hitting a culvert.

Pryor said no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
