Young Farmers go head to head
The ANZ Young Farmer of the Year competition will be decided tonight after two days hard yakka in Lincoln.
The annual competition sees a candidate from seven New Zealand regions go head to head using skills like fencing, ploughing, drenching and machinery work.
On top of a hard day of physical challenges yesterday, the competitors took part in academic challenge, a quiz and a speech contest.
The Canterbury (Tasman region) representative, Reuben Carter was competing in the grand final for the second, and last, time. Results will be known tonight.
