Two brazen shoplifters who stole booze from Bishopdale New World were caught when they returned to the scene of the crime.
An eye witness said two alleged offenders were apprehended by police late this morning when supermarket staff spotted them in store again and raised the alarm.
Police said they had successfully stolen alcohol from the supermarket the night before, and were spotted by staff when they returned to the store this morning.
Police said staff gave chase when the pair fled and both were taken into police custody.
Three police cars and a motorcycle unit attended the incident.
New World Bishopdale would not comment on the incident.
