The chief executive of CPIT has resigned, after three years at the helm.
Dr Neil Barns was appointed head of the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology in 2006.
He has resigned from the position citing lifestyle and family reasons.
Barns said he felt fortunate to have had the opportunity to lead CPIT and to play a part in its development.
"I look forward to continuing my personal connections with the many outstanding and talented individuals I’ve had the pleasure of working with since 2006," he said.
