Ashleigh Sehnert, aged 14, has been missing from her Papanui/ Edgeware home since Sunday.
Police have concerns for her safety.
Ashleigh left home to go to the shops but failed to return.
Since then she has not contacted her family, friends or the school. This is completely out of character for her.
When last seen Ashleigh was wearing blue jeans, a black T shirt with the words 'I love dirty, dirty house music' and a pink, hooded sweat shirt. She always wears glasses.
Anyone with information or Ashleigh herself is asked to contact Christchurch Police on 363 7400.
