Quake wakes Cantabrians

An earthquake 10km east of Amberley shook the South Island early this morning.
The quake hit at 5.33am and measured 4.2 on the richter scale and ha a focal depth of 33 kilometres.
There were no reports of damage, although many Cantabrians were awoken by the jolt.
