Christchurch police still seek a second man in connection with the theft of two children's presents on Christmas Day.
Police yesterday asked for the public's help to track down a man in relation to the 3am break-in at the Meadow Park holiday camp in Papanui.
Presents for two young girls and a North Island family's car were taken. One man has been charged, but police want to talk to a second man.
Police are also still looking for the family's silver-coloured Mazda Familia saloon, registration YN6144.
On Christmas morning, Alistair and Julie Simmers and their children, Amy, 6, and Caitlin, 4, were asleep at Meadow Park when they heard movement in their unit.
Alistair Simmers was devastated to find his children's presents had been stolen.
Rory Khan Conley, 26, has been charged with the burglary of the family's unit.
His bail application was refused and he remains in custody. He is due to reappear in the Christchurch District Court on January 12.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Earle Borrell on 0272240868.
