Police have cordoned off a house in the Christchurch suburb of Spreydon as they examine what is believed to be drug manufacturing equipment.
Detective Sergeant Dorothy McPhail says that there is no danger to the neighbours of the Conway St house, or the public.
ESR scientists are also at the property.
The scene examination should be completed by tomorrow.
