Moa, Wigmore gain multiple nominations

Christchurch's Anika Moa has been nominated as a New Zealand Music Awards finalist.
Moa has been recognised in the Best Female Solo Artist, Album Of The Year and Best Pop Album categories.
Her song Running Through The Fire has also been nominated as an Apra Silver Scrolls finalist.
Moa will be on tour around New Zealand this year, including a Lyttelton show on December 3.
Gin Wigmore, Dane Rumble, and The Phoenix Foundation also feature among the awards finalists.
Wigmore and Rumble are finalists in six categories, with The Phoenix Foundation featuring in five.
Work on The Phoenix Foundation's Buffalo album was recognised with three technical awards on Wednesday. Best producer went to the band; best engineer went to Lee Prebble; and best cover went to Paul Johnston.
Shihad have been awarded the New Zealand Legacy Award and will be inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame at the awards in Auckland on October 7.
In a first for the awards, a finalists' showcase will be held in Christchurch on September 17, with Dane Rumble, J Williams and Young Side performing.
