Curly is missing. He is a curly-coated Retriever who went missing in the Phillipstown area on Thursday 27th Jan. FOUND; A fluffy tortie & white on 31/01/11, near Scarborough Park, Sumner. Unusual distinctive markings on face, black, light ginger & white, white feet & bib, brindle ginger, & black rest of body with ring of cream near end of tail and whitish on tip. She is very thin under all her fluff and has two small shaved areas, one on right side of abdomen and other under her tummy. Very nervous but loves tummy rubs and cuddles now shes used to me. Zeta is a seal point siamese female cat that is 5yrs old. She has distinctive colouring (dark brown feet and dark brown ears with brown over face face and brown tail, also brown down her back). Lost since June 2009. Could be trying to return to previous house in Hororata (there for 5 years), or even the flat we had before that in Opawa. Male, 10 years old, neutered, not microchipped. Four white paws, white right cheek, white chest and strip to white belly. Rest of fur dark grey and very dense. Several rips in ears from fighting. FOUND: I think this is a wee girl cat. She has appeared at our home on Dyers pass road and is sleeping under the house. It is very hungry and smoochy, but was quite scared at first until we started feeding it. Looks as though she has not eaten properly for some time. We can be contacted on 3372902.

FOUND: One cat found early this morning, 6 Dec 2010. Very skinny. Found in Linwood area, around Hereford St and Oliviers. however it may have traveled a distance. Very pale ginger (or creamy kind of ginger). He is quite weak but likes a wee cuddle. We have taken the poor wee thing to our local vet. Marco went missing on the 19th October after the large after shock that day. He is a 3 year old dark grey neutered male and at the time was wearing a blue collar. I think he had lost his name tag. His coat is very dense and plush and when parted is a pale grey at the roots. He is a bit timid with strangers but has been brought up in the company of a cocker spaniel and a bichon frise. This adult neutered 4 year old Blue Point Siamese, not microchiped, not wearing a collar went missing the afternoon of September 18 from the Woolston area. He is very timid outside of his own environment and presence of his owner. FOUND: (updated pic) Cat, sitting 2 floors up outside the Christchurch Central Library - 89 Gloucester St. The cat appears to be small but stocky, solid grey in colour with a white bib although it is hard to tell as he is still in the tree. Zeus is a black and white (tux style - white chest and tummy and front paws), male neutered cat. Quite a big-boned guy and approx 10 years old. Missing from Shadbolt Lane, Highgate in Rolleston. Flossy is a very long haired cat coloured white ginger and grey with extremely long whiskers. FOUND: This cat has been visiting a house in Wedgewood Avenue, Cashmere. It is quite fluffy, with a soft browny/grey coat with a paler undercoat, and a sort of striped tail. It looks like a possum. Doris has been missing on and off since the earthquake, but it has now been 3 weeks with no sightings. She is a 15 year old grumpy ginger. In one of her ears she has a tattoo with either the numbers '654' or '652'. Yousef shot out the catdoor at the start of the Wed 8th aftershock, and we haven't seen him since. He's a short-haired, neutered male cat, black in colour. He's quite a lanky cat. He had a shaved patch on the left side of his neck when he went missing, but it will have grown back by now. FOUND: This cat was brought into the After Hours Clinic by the SPCA. He is a 6kg, neutered male, white and ginger cat. He had been hit by a car in the Richmond area, and was wearing a red collar with silver shaped studs at the time. He has sustained some pretty severe head trauma, hind leg injuries and some nerve damage to his front left leg. We have cleaned up the wounds, but he does need ongoing care.
