Dan Carter, Honor Dillon practise vows
LATEST: All Black lock Ali Williams has flown into Blenheim Airport this evening ahead of Dan Carter and Honor Dillon's wedding at Lake Timara Lodge tomorrow.
Williams arrived on a flight from Auckland with his partner Casey Green.
When asked for details about the wedding Williams said: "It's not for me to comment".
"It's his (Carter's) day," he said.
When asked whether he was happy his mate was getting married he said that was a "silly statement". He refused to comment further.
Williams posed with children for photos before leaving in an executive shuttle.
3:43pm: The father of bride-to-be Honor Dillon has greeted guests arriving at Lake Timara Lodge in Marlborough this afternoon.
Dillon is set to marry All Black star Dan Carter at a private ceremony at the picturesque private estate tomorrow in what has been dubbed New Zealand's wedding of the year.
Fairfax media understands that a wedding rehersal was held at the site at 3pm today.
Dillon's father Jimma, shook the hands of guests arriving at the venue.
He then told media waiting outside the venue he would prefer not to comment because it was a private time for him and his family.
Jimma Dillon said the media attention the event had received so far was frustrating. A helicopter hired by 3news, which hovered over the site for about 20 minutes, had angered him, he said.
The venue is in lockdown with security guards stationed at the gate and trespass warning signs posted around the perimeter.
Guests have begun arriving at Blenheim Airport.
However no one has been prepared to shed further light on the event. One man, who had a suit draped over his shoulder, told reporters he was "going to have a few wines somewhere".
A worker at the Lake Timara Lodge had earlier confirmed both the Carter and Dillon families were at the lodge's "picturesque" grounds today where men on lawn mowers and leaf suckers were hard at work.
"With all the rain, if the sun comes out it will be beautiful. With all the roses and everything, it's nice," the worker said.
Four marquees had been set up at the site - one big one, a smaller one to house the toilets and two in a swimming pool area.
Carter and Dillon would say their vows next to a lake at the lodge tomorrow, the worker said.
An exclusive party for guests would be held at a vineyard in Marlborough tonight.
Hayley expected to sing for wedding guests
Meanwhile, it is understood that songbird Hayley Westenra will perform at the wedding.
The Christchurch starlet, who now lives in Britain, arrives in Auckland today for a four-day visit before heading to Taiwan for three concerts next week.
Her father, Gerald Westenra, said she was spending the next three days in the South Island but was booked to fly out of Christchurch on Sunday.
He would not comment on rumours she would sing at the wedding.
He said she would return to Christchurch later this month to spend Christmas Day with her family in her home town.
