Ngahere crash victim named
The name of an 18-year-old woman killed when her car rolled on the West Coast has been released.
Nadine Jane Lawton, of Totara Flat, died when her car rolled near Ngahere, about 24 kilometres northeast of Greymouth, about 4.30am yesterday.
Lawton was the sole occupant of the car and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Lawton was a student at Tai Poutini Polytechnic in Greymouth and was a former pupil at Greymouth High School.
She was originally from England..
