Antarctica New Zealand will host a third and final flight to Antarctica next February for the families of those who lost loved ones at Mt Erebus.
The November 28, 1979 Air New Zealand DC10 Mt Erebus crash killed 257 people.
The trip from February 6 to 8 will depend on weather conditions, and will include an overnight stay for the family members at Scott Base.
Antarctica New Zealand chief executive Lou Sanson said it would be the final opportunity for family who had not been able to take part in previous remembrance events on the ice.
"Antarctica New Zealand and Air New Zealand have continued to work closely on a range of initiatives in Antarctica and we are pleased to be able to help in what will be a very special event", he said.
