New Zealand's top alpacas are strutting their stuff in Christchurch this weekend as part of the National Alpaca Expo.
The three-day event at the Canterbury Agricultural Park, which ends today, has attracted 300 entries for the breed section and 110 alpacas in the fleece section.
The expo is considered a dress rehearsal for when New Zealand hosts the World Alpaca Conference next year.
Co-convenor Stephen Davy said New Zealand alpacas were up to world standard.
