It might have been cold and miserable everywhere else in the country, but temperatures were soaring in the Hornby Workingmen's Club last night.
Sophia Lee an self-confessed OTT (over the top) lingerie designer based in Christchurch launched her latest collection of couture lingerie and burlesque costumes.
Lee says it's been a challenging couple of years since the earthquakes closed her business and forced her out of her home. "I've some new strength," she says. "And have been able to put together our annual extravaganza."
The fashion show was named "Living Dolls" and the models were all styled as dolls.
There were performances by Miss Venus Starr, Dollaholics, Dynasty Dolls, Bonita Danger Doll & Ruby Ruin with guest appearances by reality TV star, brunette bombshell Rosanna Arkle & tattooed showgirl 'Jackel'.
